OTTAWA, ONT (Feb. 5, 2009) – MCO Business Group Inc., Ottawa’s leading talent management and outplacement firm, announced today the appointment of Brett G. Filson as Managing Director and CEO.  Filson brings more than 14 years of executive management and 10 years of human resources experience in policy development, career coaching, training, pay equity, search and recruitment, coaching, labour relations and mediation. He has worked in a number of industries including health care, engineering, manufacturing, retail and trucking across diverse cultural settings.

Filson holds a B. Admin. in Organizational Behaviour and Industrial Relations from the University of Regina and has additional training in Mediation from the Alberta Mediation and Arbitration Society.  He is currently registered to complete his designation as a personal coach through the National Society of Career Management.
