Prior to joining CPI in 1999, Dave was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Talent Alliance, a not-for-profit business league focused on Web-based career management and transition support for its members' employees. Member firms included: AT&T, GTE, Unisys, Johnson & Johnson, UPS, TRW, DuPont, Ceridian and Met Life.
Jim is the Chairman of Cleveland-based Ratliff and Taylor, which he founded in April 1990 and is the Chairman of the Board of Career Partners International. Jim works exclusively with C-Level executives and is best known and recognized for his innovative transition programs. He is an owner, investor and board member of many Cleveland companies and is knowledgeable in all aspects of small business and franchise development. Jim specializes in helping Fortune 500 companies with strategic planning, sales, marketing and general management. He holds a bachelor's degree in Education and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College.
John is one of the founders and a managing partner of Kensington International and is a past Chairman of the Board of Career Partners International. Elaine Varelas is Managing Partner of Keystone Partners, CPI's Boston office. She has over 20 years experience in career consulting, executive development and coaching, and has worked with executive management teams to improve organizational effectiveness. Elaine has expertise in resolving complex career management issues, including workforce planning, redeployment and multi-site restructurings. Elaine's experience spans Fortune 500 companies, start-up ventures and not-for-profit organizations. Elaine served as Director of Career Services at Stonehill College where she was a member of the faculty, and in Career Planning and Placement at the Boston University School of Management. Elaine frequently addresses professional associations and has achieved widespread recognition for her expertise and insight on career matters, including two monthly columns featured in the Boston Globe and on Boston.com advising job seekers and HR professionals on career, management and human capital issues. Elaine holds degrees from the University of Vermont and the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.
Sharon is the President of Career Concepts. Career Concepts, founded in 1988, is one of the Philadelphia region’s largest management consulting firms specializing in career transition, executive search, human resource consulting, executive coaching and leadership development. Prior to Career Concepts, Sharon held executive positions with Aetna and Prudential Financial leading the start-up and integration of large customer service operations. During her tenure with Prudential, Sharon led the human resource, organizational development and training efforts for a large Mid-Atlantic business unit of 8500 employees. She led many change management and organizational excellence initiatives throughout her tenures. For CPI, Sharon is the board member leading the Career Transition function, assuring that CPI continues to be the leader in the Outplacement and Career Transition industry.
Tedd is Managing Principal of The Curtiss Group International, CPI’s partner firm with offices throughout the State of Florida. Tedd’s professional background consists of over 20 years experience in leading initiatives focused on talent management, leadership development, succession planning, executive assessment and coaching, as well as organizational development interventions. As a former executive for an international manufacturing company, his business experience, training and ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels help clients to increase overall performance.
Mike is President of Waldron & Company, a leading Western-U.S. based Organization Development and Talent Management firm. The firm assists regional, national and global clients in the acquisition, development, succession and transition of key human resources and consults with these clients on organization effectiveness. Mike has for the past eight years dedicated his professional efforts to enhancing Waldron & Company’s value-proposition to the individuals and organizations it serves. In addition to leading day-to-day operations across five Western markets, Mike selectively consults with organizations and Boards on strategic development and succession planning, with senior executives in executive coaching engagements, on executive career transition engagements, and on client entrepreneurial venture activities, venture incubation and key-player selection.
Prior to Waldron & Company/CPI, Mike was CEO at Pacific Financial Holdings, a financial services investment and holding company. From 1994 – 1998, Mike held a number of division General Management roles at PrimeSource, acquired by Fuji Graphic Systems. From 1985 – 1994, he served as an investment and commercial banking executive at Bank of America, Chase Manhattan Asia Limited and Manufacturers Hanover NA. Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and journalism at the University of Washington, and holds an M.B.A. in finance from the Stern School, New York University.
