Career Partners International Tulsa Office Receives High Honor for Serving Veterans

Career Partners International (CPI), one of the largest career management consultancies in the world, is pleased to announce that its Oklahoma region brand partner, Career Development Partners (CDP) was named the proud recipient of the Veteran Business Champion Award this past October. The Tulsa Regional Chamber recognized CDP for their assistance given to Veterans as they transition into the civilian workplace.

Rick Christensen, Director of the region’s Career Transition Practice, served in the United States Army and has spent many years working in human resources. His background in human resources, recruiting, career planning, corporate training and line management in manufacturing gives him a unique perspective in helping transitioning individuals identify core competencies that have high value in the marketplace. His efforts have assisted thousands of individuals achieve their full potential.

Career Partners International has made a commitment to assist veterans by providing coaching and resume assistance to those who have been recently discharged. Transitioning from military life back to civilian life can be difficult. Identifying or describing skills or direct military experiences and applying them to the civilian workforce can be one of those challenges. This program was set up to support veterans as they transition from a military career to a civilian career. CDP is honored to have received this award and are very grateful to have the opportunity to serve those who have already served us.
